According to a study done in 2012, researchers have found that CBD has anti-nausea and anti-emetic effects when it was given to rats. CBD, in low doses, suppresses toxin-induced vomiting. This study was published in the British Journal of Pharmacology.

With a survey conducted in 2014 by researchers from Stanford University, Eighty-four percent of the respondents have said that CBD has reduced the frequency of their child’s seizures; eleven percent said that they had no seizures at all, forty-two percent said that the frequency of their seizures have been reduced to over eighty percent while thirty-percent of the respondents said it reduced their seizure frequency to about twenty-five to sixty percent. They also found out other beneficial effects of CBD like increased in alertness and improved mood and sleep.
- Lower risks of Diabetes
According to a study done in 2006, CBD has reduced the risk of diabetes in non-obese mice. The benefits of CBD have also shown that there is a reduction of plasma levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines. An examination of the CBD-treated mice’s livers has also shown a reduced in insulitis.
